CCOO and USO have called off Monday’s 27-day strike planned in all workplaces of Aena Group from next February 11 to reach an agreement that provides assurance on the maintenance of the workforce, according to Europa Press union sources.
The strike call included 27 days from February 11, coinciding with the IPO of the transmission network of Spanish airports, until August 31, as denounced by the unions ” breach “of the collective agreement.
The two unions, union majority in the Aena Group, have finally called off the strike to reach a compromise by the airport operator consolidation safeguard jobs through temporary contracts and guarantees maintenance of the skeleton staff at all sites in this 2015.
The agreement, according to the sources, provides additional ratification of the Collective Agreement of Aena I Group until 2021.
