Madrid, February 10 ( EFE ) .- The unions and employers have now completed the meetings held at the highest level without a deal on a wage agreement and will meet again this week for further progress in the negotiations.
The general secretaries of the UGT , Cándido Méndez, and CCOO , Ignacio Fernández Toxo, and presidents of employers’ CEOE , Juan Rosell, and CEPYME , Antonio Garamendi, had met this afternoon to resume negotiations on an agreement on wages that had been interrupted last week.
Sources of negotiation have secured a EFE that after almost three hours of meeting the social partners have not reached any agreement on wages that may be included in the III Employment Agreement and Collective Bargaining to be initialed soon.
The Secretary of Communications CCOO , Fernando Lezcano, has confirmed to EFE “no break” but that the meeting has been postponed for further progress this week.
Other sources of trading have also argued that the negotiation continues and that “sooner or later there will be an agreement “although according have señalado-” what matters is not obsessed with the number “referring to the percentage of salary increase.
