February 10, 2015, 8:50 Madrid, February 10 (PL) The sale of homes rose 2.2 percent in Spain during 2014, the first positive reading since 2010, reported the National Statistics Institute (INE).
According to the report, sales transactions amounted to 319 000 389 in 2014, similar to 2007, with an increase of resale flats of 18.4 percent and a fall of 16.9 percent new.
The sale of private housing (89.7 percent of total) increased by 3.2 percent, but the protected (a more affordable price less well-intended), fell 6.2 percent.
