Square Enix reaffirmed its commitment to Nintendo and again announced that Dragon Quest X is in development for NX, the new console of the company.
in a recent interview with Famitsu, the game’s producer, Yosuke Saito, was asked about the load receiving game servers on platforms where it is available. As part of its response, Saito said that the MMO will hit PlayStation 4 and Nintendo NX.
“I think there will be an influx of new players who make up the launch of editions for PS4 and NX . Until then, before focusing on new players, are doing the best we can for those already playing, “he said the producer.
In July last year, Square Enix was the first company to confirm NX support for Nintendo to announce that Dragon Quest X and Dragon Quest XI reach the console. Later the company said it regretted and said they were only considering taking them to NX.
It is important to note that the arrival of Dragon Quest X for PlayStation 4 and NX does not confirm his debut in the West. The game came in 2012 at Wii and in 2013 it was ported to Wii U and PC as exclusive release for Japan.
For related information, a recent leak indicates that Nintendo NX could be a hybrid platform between portable and desktop . That said, Nintendo has not confirmed details of the console that is expected to debut before the end of March 2017.
