If you’ve already filled all your profile in Facebook, and even provided your employment information, you are a step closer to be able to apply for any job that will be published on the new feature that is testing the social network, and that will compete with Linkedin.

this Is a new option that will allow page administrators to post job vacancies and receive candidates through the same site, the style of the professional social network Linkedin, as reported by Techcrunch.

“Based on the behavior that we have seen in Facebook, where many smaller companies post their vacancies on their page, we’re doing a test for page administrators believe job offers and receive applications of candidates,” said a spokesman for Facebook said in a statement.

The page administrators with the option to offer employment they will find that it will create a new tab with the title “Jobs”, in which will be able to share the vacancies, as well as the salary and the mode. Something that probably will appeal less to Linkedin is that companies will be able to pay for their jobs, to reach more people, something that, until now, it was a point-differential of the professional social network.

at the time this novelty will be arriving in a few pages, probably with a high volume of followers. The company has not said when it will end the beta phase or if it will release the function globally soon. It has also not commented on whether the pages will have a special access to review your profile and see your photos of the summer, or if you limit your privacy settings.

it is Not new that Facebook incorporates functions that we have already seen in other social networks. For example, Twitter broke out the trends and even mentions — something that also has been traditional on other platforms — while Craigslist took the Marketplace, a section of its mobile app that allows you to sell clothing, furniture and even cars to those near you and more recently unveiled Gameroom, a proposal that challenges directly to Steam, taking the game in a different way to your computer.
