National lottery pays tribute to the writer René Avilés Fabila – Terra Mexico

As a tribute to the writer, professor, critic, essayist, journalist and cultural promoter René Avilés Fabila (1940-2016), the National Lottery issued a ticket memorial that will present the image to the author and to reverse one of its minicuentos.

To celebrate the life and work of the journalist who died last October, the National Lottery launched a Raffle ticket Largest to take place on the 17th of January, an occasion that also will remind the vanished intellectual to be mexican.

The writer is remembered for founding the cultural supplement “The Owl”, “Excelsior”, a publication that ran from 1985 to 1999, and subsequently published from his own foundation dedicated to the promotion of literature, arts and culture.

The sweepstakes is provided for the assistance of the journalist, writer and television personality Cristina Pacheco and the writer Óscar de la Borbolla, who will do a portrait of the author.

The program will consist of the projection of audiovisual material about the life of René Avilés Fabila, after you will speak of him to the guest writers to then do the traditional draw of the Tuesday, and a toast of honor.
