The members of the Board of Directors of Caja Madrid who had access to the entity opaque cards took a total of 2,022,605.41 euros in cash between 2003 and May 2012.

This is provided for information held by the National Court judge Fernando Andreu, who is investigating the use of these cards by the members of the Board of Caja Madrid and Bankia, and showing a total of 29 counselors they used to withdraw cash from ATMs or branches.

Of these two million euros, corresponding to 1,227,730.24 euros cash withdrawals at ATMs both the box and other financial institutions in the country. Meanwhile, the remaining $ 794,875.17 was withdrawn in cash by the directors in office.



Moral Santín at the head

On the contrary, the counselor who withdrew the minor, not counting those who placed no cash was Rafael Torres Posada, who took only 40 euros.

The use of ATM cash concludes in September 2011, except in the case of former Caja Madrid and Bankia Rodrigo Rato, that between February 22, 2012 and May 5 of that year, two days before leaving the bank, took out a total of 16,000 euros.

Overall, removed for Rato effective from January 2010 amounts to 17,300 euros, which almost entirely obtained in recent weeks in the box, with recurrent provisions of € 1,000 per day.

Meanwhile, his predecessor as head of Caja Madrid, Miguel Blesa, withdrew a total of 85,950 euros from ATMs.
