The Rato case goes to Spanish Parliament – The Reason (Argentina)

The case of former International Monetary Fund ( IMF) and former Finance Minister of Spain, Rodrigo Rato, becoming the Parliament of that country, where in the coming days there will be hearings and questions the Government of PP (center right), match in which he played more than three decades.

Rato was arrested last Thursday for a few hours and his home and office were recorded under investigation for tax evasion, money laundering and concealment of assets. It is a corporate network spread over several countries having 26.6 million euros and includes properties as a hotel in Berlin. Among the investigated operations there million accounts gathered in Gibraltar by the three sons of former minister José María Aznar for 8 years.
