The Government, through the Ministry of Economy and Finance, has commissioned the National Mint (FNMT ) mint a series of commemorative 2-euro coins of the proclamation of King Philip VI, produced last June 19.
According to an Order published Saturday in the Official State Gazette (BOE) on the obverse of the coin, in the central area, the portraits of King Philip VI in the foreground and his father appear, King Juan Carlos, second. At the bottom of central Spain contain the word in capital letters and the date 2014, separated by a hyphen, and all surrounding grounds and legends are the twelve stars of the European Union.
The reverse will the standard of these coins, with the word euro, the value of the coin, six vertical lines with the twelve stars of the EU and a representation of Europe.
The date of issuance and circulation of these coins will take place during the third quarter of 2014 and its highest level of issue is 12 million pieces.
The coins will be minted by the National Mint and Stamp, who delivered them to Bank of Spain for your circulation, which will occur in response to market needs.
The FNMT and launched last June 19, a commemorative medal of the proclamation of King Philip VI at a price of 40 euros, including taxes. Struck in sterling silver, on the face of it appears flanked Crown Royal, left and right, for the lily, symbol of the Bourbon dynasty. In the legend, the name of the new king, Philip VI, and the title of King of Spain.
