Report: growing fortunes of millionaires worldwide – Deutsche Welle

Most of the world’s millionaires (in dollars) live in Asia, according to a report released today in Frankfurt am Main study.

According to the report “World Wealth Report 2016″ of Capgemini, some 5.1 million rich with assets of 17.4 billion dollars are based in the Asia-Pacific.

the number of millionaires in this area rose by 9, 4 percent of his fortune and 9.9 percent from 2015 to 2016. Japan and China are the two countries that grew the number of people who has a fortune of more than a million dollars.

in Europe also climbed the number of millionaires, 4.8 percent to 4.2 million. Germany recorded growth above the average of 5.1 percent to 1.2 million richer.

By contrast, North America fell to second place. There, some 4.8 million rich (two percent more than last year) accumulated 16.6 billion dollars.

Globally, the fortunes of millionaires rose by four percent to 58.7 billion. Until 2025 could amount to 100 billion dollars, Klaus-Georg Meyer, an expert at Capgemini said.

The study does not take into account the properties in use, collections of valuable objects or items of use.
