The new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus have been exhausted in a few places on the planet and in stores such as the emblematic Puerta del Sol, in Madrid, the first few days there was even a shortage on the shelves. However, the principal analyst of KGI Securities, Ming Chi Kuo, says that nowhere near the sales figures are close to those of the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus.

As reported by 9to5mac, the analyst – whose reports have a large percentage of reliability – ensures that the iPhone 7 Plus has sold more in the first few days of sales thanks to three factors: on the one hand the new colors, matte black and gloss black, which have benefited both models, on the other the explosive episode of the Galaxy Note 7, and finally the dual camera, which without a doubt represents an additional detail that creates interest in the buyers.

A survey of KGI cited by the source, obtained as a result that if of colors this is the gloss black is the most popular – in spite of the Apple website warns of the possibility of scratching with ease. So, this is the tone that represented between 30 and 35 per cent of the reserves in all the world, whereas in China at least between 45 and 50 percent of users acquired in this color. The model of 128GB has been by far the most sought after up to now.

Kuo also explained that the shortage of phones iPhone 7 and 7 Plus should not be an onslaught of buyers, but for Apple this year started selling the phone the same day in 28 countries, unlike last year when it premiered at 12. In addition to this is the fact that the gloss black is more difficult to manufacture, giving a rate of between 60 and 70 per cent of performance.

The expectations of sales of KGI for the first year of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus are high, between 70 and 75 million devices, however the company says will be less to the iPhone 6S. This year, Apple indicated that it would report sales of the devices during the first weekend, a detail that until now has never happened before.
