Inverter colombian puts on sale 2,99% of its stake in Banco Sabadell – AméricaEconomía.com

Madrid. The inverter colombian Jaime Gilinski has commissioned the Deutsche Bank on the sale of a participation 2,99% of Banco Sabadell, through an accelerated placement of shares among institutional investors.

Gilinski, Colombia is owned by banco GNB Sudameris, he joined Sabadell in 2013 with a participation of close to 7.5%, a position he held until the close of 2015 but that has been decreasing in recent months to below 5%.

In a matter of fact, Deutsche Bank said Monday that the operation will be carried out in a period not to exceed one day, a usual procedure in this type of placements.

The participation of Gilinski in the bank in the sale is about 212 billion euros (about US$ 225 million) according to the value of the shares at the close of Monday’s session in Europe.
