The Committee of Unicode will meet next week in Cupertino, California, to discuss regarding the inclusion of emojis with red hair within their records, as reported.
In case of implementing the inclusion, these new emojis will appear in 2018, and then be employed by developers of mobile operating systems (Android, Windows Phone and iOS), reported Thursday’s publication The Verge.
According to Emojipedia, the options are going to study are both men and women with red hair, with different shades of skin.
Unicode is
the non-profit organization that is in charge of standardizing the way in which the punctuation marks and the characters language are represented by different computer systems.
