                Athens, July 25 (EFE) .- The Greek government has relaxed restrictions on bank again almost four weeks ago and from now on Greek citizens can carry 2,000 euros in cash or its equivalent in foreign currency on their trips abroad.
The new decree issued by the Ministry of Finance also notes that foreigners may continue to carry unlimited amounts of cash.
On the other hand, shipping companies may withdraw 50,000 euros in cash per day.
Last Monday, the day they reopened the banks after three weeks of closing, the Ministry of Finance had given way to a first easing of restrictions on transfers abroad by allowing parents with children studying abroad transfer them to 5,000 euros per quarter.

To overcome the restrictions that were in the first weeks of imports, the Bank of Greece said Friday it will expedite the formalities of commercial payments abroad.
