His Majesty the King Felipe VI in Madrid attended the second plenary meeting of the Latin American Council for Productivity and Competitiveness (CIPC), which is developing throughout the day in Madrid.

the ICPC was set up last year in Mexico to boost productivity in the various Latin American countries and to reduce disparities social, extending equal opportunities and increase the levels of welfare of all its people.

the opening session was conducted by Enrique Iglesias, president of the CIPC, and César Alierta, chairman of the Business Council for competitiveness.

The initiative to set up the ICPC corresponded to the Spanish Business Council for Competitiveness; the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD); the Inter-American Development Bank and the Andean Development Corporation – Development Bank of Latin America, to which forty TNCs Ibero joined the majority present at the meeting today in Madrid

. the plenary session will be organized on four large panels, focusing on:

– Latin America and Europe. for Productivity Business Cooperation

– evaluation of public policies from the perspective of productivity

-. the formalization of employment and productive activity to increase productivity

. – status and prospects of the economy and productivity in Spain: Visions and experiences

After the four planned panels, ICPC Plenary Assembly shall determine the conclusions and proposals of the session. they will be announced in a press release around the close of the event.
