MADRID (Reuters) – The average expenditure per household in Spain increased last year for the first time since the onset of the economic crisis, they showed on Monday figures from the National Statistics Institute (INE) .

The average expenditure per person also increased in 2015 with an increase of 1.9 percent to 10.960 euros, but remains below the 11,871 euros in 2008, at the beginning of the crisis.
by region, the average cost per person highest were recorded in the Basque Country, Madrid and Navarra, while the Canary Islands and Extremadura were the communities where they spent less individually on average.
