IMF forecasts oil prices below $ 70 for 2015 – The World

.- The International Monetary Fund (IMF) estimates that the average oil price in the international market will be below $ 70 the next two years and it will not be enough to drive growth in the global economy, so it lowered its estimate by 0.3 percentage points to 3.5%.

The Fund issued Tuesday its updated World Economic Outlook (WEO for its acronym in English) which reviews the risks and forecasts a global scale and larger economies .

“It is possible that the downward correction has been excessive and prices oil going to rebound before or more than expected if the supply response to low prices is stronger than expected, “said the Fund, which negatively impact global economic growth.

They estimate that by 2015 the average oil price will be $ 56.73 and by 2016 a rise to $ 63.88, based on the values ​​of Brent, WTI and Dubai.
