The confidence of investors back into negative territory after four … – Yahoo Finance Spain

Investor confidence has slowed the positive trend of 2014 in the last three months, after year and through ups and four quarters positive, according to a quarterly survey that produces JP Morgan Asset Management.

In the last quarter of 2014, investor confidence index stood at -0.31 points compared to 1.08 registered in the previous quarter and 0.24 achieved in the same period last year. According to JP Morgan, is to wait for “future waves” to know if this is a trend change.

Regarding expectations about the stock market, 51.7% of respondents believe that the markets will continue at current levels for the next six months. 25% believe that rates will fall and 22% expect increases, results that practically invest records the previous quarter.

16.8% of respondents confident that employment will improve in the next months, four points below the previous quarter, but two out of three do not see improvement.

On the other hand, 19.2% of respondents say they already are beginning to see the first signs of recovery economic and discards 26% lower than GDP over the next six months.

Despite the improvement in most opinions, increase the term investors believe that Spain will emerge from the crisis. 57.1% think that this will not come until within more than four years, while 19% think that the end will occur within more than three years.

DESTINATION OF INVESTMENTS

The percentage of respondents who think investing in funds or pension plans fell by three points, to 8.9%, and setbacks occur also in mutual funds and bonds. Consequently, increased to 64.5% interest of investors towards deposits, passbooks or savings accounts.

As for the reasons to invest, the answers of the respondents show little variation . 49.6% do so to “break even” while 36.5% look “less profitability and certain security” and 13.9% intend to obtain maximum profitability.
