The average number of foreign social security in Asturias affiliates totaled 12,239 in December 2014, representing an annual decrease of 0.56 percent, according to data released Thursday by the Ministry of Employment and Social Security. In Spain, the average foreign affiliates stood at 1,552,639.
Of the 12,239 members, 9,659 make up the set of all general scheme, while the self are located in the 2,222. Meanwhile, members linked to General sector amounted to 6,682, with 289 members in the Agricultural sector and 2,689 linked to the home sector.
In the sea and coal sectors stood affiliates at 185 and 173 respectively. Thus, Asturias brings to 0.79 percent of total foreign affiliates resident in Spain, where Catalonia’s autonomous community of foreign affiliates percentage recorded, with a 22.45 percent.
December data, a decline of membership in this group compared to November 2014 is seen at 1.34 percent. The annual change has also fallen in the Principality of Asturias, 0.56 percent.
According to their origin, 5,236 foreigners came from countries outside the European Union –the most Romania- – and 7,003 of countries outside the Union –the most Paraguay -.
