Expansion / The telecommunications company Vodafone has announced it will increase the price of their rates between 1 and 9 euros in exchange for more data and services.
After months of fall in the price of mobile phones, it seems that the trend begins to change. Two weeks ago Movistar announced an increase of 5 euros in their rates. This week it is the turn to Vodafone.
The company red announced an increase in data from their mobile rates accompanied by a rise in the cost thereof. The new offerings range from 900 MB to 8 GB and a rise of 1-9 euros. (See Chart)
The rate ‘Red XL’ passes 6GB to 8GB with a price increase of 9 euros, to 59. Meanwhile, ‘Red L’ grows 1GB to 5GB and rises from 39 to 42 euros per month. The intermediate rate, ‘Red M’, goes from 2.5 to 3 GB for one euro more, 33 euros per month. These rates include access to Yomvi or Napster.
The simplest pricing plans, ‘Smart M’, with 1.5 GB (1.1 GB before), ‘Smart S’, with 1 GB (formerly 800 MB) and ‘Mini S’, with 900 MB (800 MB before), consist now 23 euros, 20 euros and 11.5 euros, one euro more than the previous price.
Unlike Movistar’s proposal, which is automatically activated for all users, Vodafone will allow its customers to maintain current rates unless you prefer to renew by new as of April 20, when the new jobs will be established.
