US banks Citigroup and JPMorgan, and Barclays and Royal Bank of British Scotland (RBS) pleaded guilty in this new financial scandal, according to a Department of Justice (DOJ).

In addition to the financial penalty, the Swiss bank UBS lost the immunity that protected of any criminal lawsuits, while Bank of America will pay only the amount claimed by the authorities to compensate the injured clients
