Google faces a fine of US $ 3400 million in Europe: report – CNET in Spanish

Google faces a multimillion-dollar fine for alleged abuse of monopoly in Europe, according to a report The Telegraph that collect various media in the US.

The Telegraph says that the fine could amount to a maximum 6,000 million, or ten percent of annual sales of Google, although the figure has been handled so far is 3,000 million euros.

The Silicon Valley giant gave no comments to The Telegraph.

The British newspaper said Margarethe Vestager, Commissioner EC competition, reported last week that there could be more charges against Google, in business travel information and maps. The report of this fine comes just weeks after that Google was accused of having a monopoly with its mobile operating system Android. The Vestager itself is also leading the charge against Google and its operating system. Android already has more than 1,400 million active devices worldwide.
