The net profit of Bankinter rises 30 pct in 2016, exceeds forecasts – Investing.com Spain

MADRID (Reuters) – The net profit of Bankinter (MC:) rose 30 percent in 2016, exceeding the forecasts of analysts, thanks to the growth of all lines of business and to the integration of the retail business Portuguese of Barclays (LON/:).

In a press release, the bank said all of its business lines grew, with a special mention to the business of business – which most contributed to the gross margin of the company, with a portfolio 21,700 million euros.

Bankinter also mentioned the solid performance of its private banking segment, with an increase of 11.4 percent in its assets managed to 31.200 million euros, and that of its insurance business Direct Line, with an increase of your premiums.
