The president of Banco Sabadell, Josep Oliu, kept their remuneration in 2014 with 2.83 million euros, slightly below the 2.84 million last year, according coast in the annual report on directors’ remuneration for the year 2014 submitted to the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV).
Total remuneration of the Board in 2014 was 7.67 million, up from 7.37 million in 2013. The CEO of the company, Jaume Guardiola, received 2.4 million, compared to almost 2.2 2013 and the remaining amount not correponde to Oliu and Guardiola is distributed among 13 other council members.
Banco Sabadell reduced by 15% the remuneration of the Board in 2013 and 2015 does not provide “significant changes” in remuneration policy.
The company has indicated that coincide with the term of the current Strategic Plan (2014-2016), the remuneration of the bank “will continue adjusted to the principles of austerity and restraint that have been applied in recent years “
