MEXICO CITY (CNNExpansión) – The Airbus A320 Manufacturer model operated by low-cost airline Germanwings crashed Tuesday in the French Alps with 150 people on board.

The Microwave Landing System (MLS) increases the visibility to harsh climates and Future Air Navigation System (FANS) optimizes flight path and controls the distance between planes.



5. Capacity

The classical model has a capacity of 150 passengers can be increased to 180 as required by the scheduled trip.



6. Investment

Airbus details on its website that annually invests more than EUR 100 million (MDE) to upgrade its A320 fleet.



7. Airlines that use

At the international level, some airlines firms using the model are: American Airlines, Delta Airlines, Air France, Lufthansa, British Airways and United Airlines. In Mexico it is part of the airline fleet as Interjet and Volaris.
