The price of gasoline and diesel falls doors Week … – Yahoo Finance Spain

Madrid, Mar 26 (EFE) .- The average retail prices of gasoline and diesel have broken a run of two months upwards and have declined in the last week 0.63% and 1.61%, respectively, at the gateway to the start of Easter holidays.

According to the latest EU Oil Bulletin, the 95 octane unleaded sold this week to an average of 1,261 euros per liter price represents a fall of 0.63% from last week, while diesel fuel costs 1,159 euros per liter, 1.61 % less.

Despite recent declines, gasoline is 2.78% more expensive than earlier in the year and 2.94% above the price that was a month ago.

In the case of diesel, the fuel most consumed in Spain, the current rate is 0.26% lower than it was a month and 5.17% higher than in early 2015 ago.

The fuel prices began to decline in mid last year in line with the collapse of oil prices in international markets-the barrel of Brent fell as 50 dollars to mark their minimum in mid-January 2015, when they began to rebound.

As for the prices they had in March last year, the lead is a cheap 9.41% and diesel by 11 86%, differences amounting to 17.15% and 19.79%, respectively, compared with highs in September 2012.

As usual prices in Spain are lower than those European countries. In the EU 28 diesel costs 1,272 euros per liter and gasoline by 1,416 euros, while in countries with the single currency unleaded sells for an average of 1,430 and 1,234 euros diesel.
