Tryfon Alexiadis was appointed new deputy finance minister, replacing Nadia Valavani, who resigned earlier this week. Euclid Tsakalotos , who took over as finance minister on July 6 replacing Yanis Varoufakis, kept his portfolio.
The academic Christoforos Vernardakis will become deputy defense minister. And Syriza lawmaker Olga Gerovassili will be the spokesperson of the government.
