Treasury net borrowing will rise in 2016 to 49,500 mln euros – Investing.com Spain

MADRID (Reuters) – The Spanish government estimates that the net indebtedness of the Treasury in 2016 will amount to 49,500 million euros, with 4,000 million issued in letters and the rest in bonds, according, as stated in the Economic Report of the State Budget which was seen by Reuters.

Given the net financing through debt and amortization, gross emissions will be about 231,175,000 of euros.

The letters and notes and bonds concentrate the bulk of emissions, but possible financing contemplated with other debts and other currencies depending on market opportunities.

FIRST DOWN DEBT / GDP since the crisis

Funding net of depreciation and the expected growth will enable the government debt be reduced for the first time since 2007.

According projections in the budget document presented on Tuesday in Congress, the ratio of all the administrations in debt relative to GDP will stand at 98.2 percent at the end of 2016 versus 98.7 percent in 2015
