The whole debt of public administrations in Spain has increased by 12.638 million euros in June from the previous month, which is to reach a total of 1.053 billion euros, equivalent to 98 , 5 percent of GDP, according to figures released today by the Bank of Spain (BE).
The BE indicates that the debt of the general government rose in June 40,430 million when compared with that same month of 2014, adding that the 1,053 billion euros, 775,110 million corresponded to values in the medium and long term, to 75.764 million short-term securities, and 202,151,000 non-commercial loans, as well as issuing currency CGD.
However, the Spanish Government forecasts are that the public debt will stand at 98.9 percent of GDP this year and 98.5 percent in 2016 . around 96.5 percent for 2017
