Activision has announced that the first DLC of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, entitled self-Sabotage, will be released for PlayStation 4 on January 31, with “followed by other platforms.”
self-Sabotage will bring four new multiplayer maps to Infinite Warfare, as well as a new episode in the zombie mode of the game.
Rave in the Redwoods, the next chapter zombie, will continue “the macabre narrative while that transports players to a new decade: the 90′s”. Players will battle against hordes of zombies “in a summer camp, abandoned at the edge of the lake, where ravers zombie have taken over and turned around in an illusion full of techno”. The four playable characters of the story will return, but with “papers fresh and exaggerated”.
Noir, the first of the new multiplayer maps, is a map of three lanes “dark and dirty” inspired a Brooklyn futurist. Neon will take players to a digital centre of virtual training where “cars and other structures appear out of nowhere and the enemies dissolve into hundreds of pixels to be deleted”.
The third map of the DLC, called the Renaissance, unfolds in Venice, Italy, where players will fight in the narrow streets surrounded by classical architecture and iconic canals in the city. Finally, Dominion is a reinterpretation of the map Afghan in Modern Warfare 2. The map will retain all the points of the original, but it will run on Mars with “some adjustments designed to take advantage of the new system of movement.”
The DLC Sabotage the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be part of the season pass of the game, or can be purchased separately at a price of $ 15.
