Unemployment rises in 19,720 people in September, its lowest rise … – The World

The number of unemployed registered at the offices of the Public Employment Service (INEM old) stood at the end of September at 4,447,650 people, 19,720 unemployed after rising in the previous month, the lowest increase since 2007 this month , as reported Thursday by the Ministry of Employment and Social Security.

Over the last twelve months, unemployment has fallen by 276,705 people, bringing the annual rate stood at -5.86%. Jobs stressed that in the full year (January-September), unemployment has fallen by 253,688 people, its biggest drop since 1998

For the Secretary of State for Employment, Engracia Hidalgo, figures September “bind” good behavior that takes recorded since the beginning of the year, “better than in years prior to the crisis.”
