PARIS The French President Francois Hollande, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras spoke Saturday to” advance the negotiations with Greece “on the payment of debt this country, according to a French diplomatic source.

This telephone interview took place on the eve of the G7 meeting this Sunday and Monday, said AFP.

“They talked to analyze the situation and to advance the negotiations between Greece and the three institutions’ creditors-the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the European Central Bank (ECB) and the European Commission (EC) – , said the gala source.

A Greek spokesman said the dialogue was developed with a “good climate”.

The negotiations between Athens and its creditors will be one of the topics of discussion at the G7 summit in Germany, attended by Merkel and Hollande.

Tsipras will also meet on Wednesday Merkel and Hollande in the margins of another summit in Brussels, he said Reuters.

Greece is facing its creditors in the Eurozone and the IMF for a rescue package to release money for the country, that you risk running out of cash.

Tsipras told the Greek parliament rejects the “absurd” conditions of an agreement to avoid the suspension of payments of Athens -the elimination of a charge of income for pensioners more poor and the VAT hike to the electricity-, but left open possible alternatives to such measures. French Finance Minister Michel Sapin said the plan is negotiable creditors.
