The diesel is cheaper by 5% last month after four weeks down – Yahoo Finance Spain

Madrid, Aug 6 (EFE) .- The diesel fuel has become cheaper by almost 5% in the last month, in which its price He has posted four consecutive weeks, according to data from European oil newsletter of the European Commission collected by Efe today.

According to the newsletter, diesel cost this week an average of 1.12 euros per liter in Spanish service stations, 1.58% less than last week and 4.92% a month ago.

Similarly, gasoline chains three-week low, to 1,284 euros per liter on average, after falling 1.76% in the last week and 3.24% in the last month.

These reductions are in line with the recent drop in crude oil prices, although gasoline and diesel still cost 11.56% and 1.63% higher, respectively, earlier this year, when oil marked its annual minimum.

So, a liter of gasoline costs 8.61% less than a year ago, before the oil began its downward path, and diesel, 22.49% less than then.

Similarly, prices gasoline and diesel 15.64% and 22.49% lower, respectively, than the maximum recorded in September 2012.
