Euro falls to lowest in four and a half years after Draghi comments – Reuters


       

LONDON (Reuters) – The euro fell Friday to their lowest in four and a half years against the dollar after the European Central Bank responsible fueled expectations that the agency would take bolder steps to boost the economy this month.


       

* The euro fell to $ 1.2035 on trading platform EBS, the lowest level since June 2010, and then was exchanged at $ 1.2055, with a daily decline of 0.4 percent.


       

* In an interview with the German business daily Handelsblatt, ECB President Mario Draghi said the risk that the central bank does not fulfill its mandate to preserve price stability was greater now than six months ago, underscoring available to act quickly this year if necessary.
