ACS, FCC and Ferrovial will present two actions against the sanction imposed by the National Commission Markets and Competition (CNMC) to form a cartel with Sacyr and over thirty companies to divide public service contracts.
So what to Europa Press sources of the companies to which the ‘super regulator ‘has fined 53.77 million euros of the total 98 million amounting to the whole of the penalty.
Specifically, the CNMC has imposed a fine of 23.28 million ACS, of 16,880,000 to 13,610,000 FCC and Ferrovial.
These companies, along with Sacyr, have been sanctioned with higher amounts of fines, one of the largest imposed by the organism, ensures that this cartel is one of the largest detected in recent years.
In its resolution, the Commission considers proven that the four large groups of construction and services, the other 35 companies and three employers fined led conducted between 2000 and 2013 a “global market sharing that formed in its trade policy concerted practice”.
In particular, these companies maintained agreements whereby municipalities procurement shared or the boycott, ie, agreed not occur if conditions “did not fit their interests.” Were also distributed and respected their respective clients, both public and private, and “commercially sensitive” information is exchanged
