The government has extended another six months, until August 15, the term of the Plan Prepare for which supports 400 euros for long-term unemployed who have exhausted their unemployment benefits or 450 euros for people with family responsibilities are granted.
The Official Gazette has published Saturday program expansion of which have benefited more than 572,000 people in this term, according to Ministry of Employment and Social Security.
The goal of this program, which has already been extended seven times, is to improve the employability of the long-term unemployed or those with family responsibilities. According to the Government, more than 56,600 families have benefited from the help of 450 euros.
People who exhausted unemployment benefit contributory or any of the subsidies may welcome this help. The Prepares Plan envisages that the Public Employment Services develop custom integration pathways depending on the characteristics of each benefit for a period of six months.
Since the reform program in August 2012, rose 400-450 euros of aid for those beneficiaries with family responsibilities. The overall cost of this program, the Government is committed to automatically renew every six months until unemployment drops 20%, was 1,390 million euros from the beginning of the term.
Ministry directed Fatima Banez updated the table with the breakdown of the Plan Prepare since December 2011 in each region. According to these data, Andalusia is the region with more beneficiaries (138,197) with a total of over 336 million euros; followed by Catalonia, with more than 176 million and 72,571 beneficiaries; Valencia, 164 million and 68 013 beneficiaries and the Community of Madrid, with over 115 million people spread across 47,523
