Madrid, May 22 (EFE) .- The government expects to approve the mechanism for the implementation of the hourly electricity bills “next week at the latest” , said today the Secretary of State for Energy, Alberto Nadal, told the media after intervening in a conference on energy efficiency.
These technical procedures, which provided approved in April, “already” as Nadal, who has justified the delay by “last minute technical issues”.
The new mechanism or VBAC rate in force since April 2014, provides that electricity consumers pay according to the price which is listed on the wholesale market at that time, an amount that varies each time.
Initially and temporarily while procedures were approved, it was determined that a consumer profiles, ie would apply, an average distribution of hours of demand to assign rates, which still remain in force.
