MADRID (Reuters) – The Spanish automotive industry continues to show signs of strength and set up factories in the country vehicles produced between January and April almost one million units, 12.5 percent more than in the same period of 2014.
According to the auto bosses Anfac, in the quarter there were 762 122 cars, with annual rise of 21.08 percent while the rest of the (industrial and SUVs) segments except commercial vehicles, recorded negative rates.
The state aid plan for the purchase of automobiles, new investments for factories and exports supported the trend .
The value of vehicle exports in the period was around 8,500 million euros, 17.3 percent more than in January-April 2014. Including the powerful sector of components and parts, Exports grew 13.2 percent to 11.269 million euros.
