European shares touched two-month lows by banks and corporate results – Yahoo Finance Spain

LONDON (Reuters) – European shares touched a minimum of two weeks on Tuesday after some poor business results of some companies like Metro or chipmaker Infineon and new day of falls in the financial sector.

the Stoxx 600 fell 0.8 percent, its lowest since July 19.

Commerzbank dropped 7 percent, the worst in the index, after warning that its earnings would fall in the year.

Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank fell 4.7 percent and 2.9 percent, respectively after STOXX said they would . to be eliminated from the STOXX Europe 50 index since August 8

the European banking index was 2.3 percent left to three-week lows
