Volkswagen has committed itself to developing an action plan “comprehensive and transparent” with a calendar “clearly defined” to inform customers about the repair of the vehicles affected by the scandal of manipulation of emission and the process that will be conducted in each member State, as reported by the European Commission.
The plan has been qualified by the european authorities as “an important step” to ensure that affected customers receive a fair deal.
