A growing gap between wages and … – Etc.

The International Labour Organization (ILO) gave released its report “Social and employment in the world Prospects”, in which it is revealed that it is producing a “growing disconnect” between labor income and productivity, that is, workers increasingly earn less so bring to their businesses.

According to the report, less than 40% of employees have a full-time job permanent, and the trend appears to be downward.

Moreover, six out of ten employees have occupied part-time employment or temporary.

The ILO called on governments to that address this situation and promote permanent jobs and full-time. It also requested to generate public policies that address and ensure adequate protection for workers regardless of the type of jobs they perform.
