According to recent figures from the Ministry of Labour and Employment Promotion (PETM), six out of ten Peruvians working in the shadow of informality.

For that reason, Peru is among the countries where the percentage of workers without contract permanent is between 75 % and 100%, a result that contrasts with the global average, more than 60% of employees lack any type of employment contract, because it most, as happens in our country makes self or so casual.
FIXED TERM
Although the report of the ILO shows that it is not a unique situation in Peru, yes repositioned on the table using the fixed-term contracts , mode widely used in the country.
According to data from the spreadsheet that handles the PETM, in 2013 corresponded most fixed-term contracts , which includes the mode of approximately 60% of total workforce. That is, for every ten workers on the payroll, nearly six were hired on a temporary basis.

Faced with these results, Guy Ryder, general manager of the ILO said the solution is to ensure that policies take into account the evolution of the way we work in today.
“That means stimulating investment opportunities to boost job creation and productivity, while ensuring adequate income security for all categories of workers, not only for those with stable contracts” , said on the eve.
