The Supervisory Agency for Private Investment in Telecommunications (Osiptel) imposed a fine of 201.450 soles to the company Telefonica del Peru , known in the market as Movistar – by failing to provide an identification code to report their clients on service quality in various regions of the country.
According to the resolution published in the official gazette El Peruano, general manager of Osiptel on Sanctioning Administrative Procedure (PAS), imposed against Telefonica Moviles SA (Now Telefonica del Peru SAA), the penalty of 51 Tax Units (UIT).
