Cinco Dias / The Bank of Spain received in 2013 a total of 34,645 complaints and grievances, which represented a significant increase of 142.1% compared to the previous year, which It basically due to related “ground clauses” which concentrated more than half of all complaints.
According to the data collected in the Complaints Report published today by the Bank of Spain , of those 34,645 complaints and claims, 18,387 were related to the “floor clauses”, 53.1% of the total, an increase that would also have been high at 13.6% if not counted those presented on this occasion.
In 82% of cases related to “floor clauses”, the claimant obtained by either route, a favorable outcome, compared with 18% in which a report was issued in favor of the entities.
Of the remaining 16,258 claims not related to the above provisions, in 2013 6,121 reports, of which 3,334 were issued were favorable to the claimant and 2.492, entities, while 295 reports there was no pronouncement.
