Iwata: NX is not a simple replacement for Wii U and 3DS – Levelup

The next Nintendo platform called NX, it is not just a replacement for Wii U and 3DS, this according to the CEO of the company, Satoru Iwata, who revealed this information during a session of questions and answers with investors.

“While I can not confirm when it will be released or any other details about the system, I confirmed that it will be ‘a platform game dedicated to a new concept for the brand’, this must mean that there will be a simple replacement for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U “Iwata said.

This could mean that Nintendo will not let its existing platforms for the new, or that all will be complemented. In 2006, the company released The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for Gamecube and its new console at that time, the Wii, so this move is likely to repeat

<. p> Iwata said that the way you play consoles and mobile devices has changed, “is a different place, especially between Japan and abroad,” the executive said. For this, NX looking to attract a wider audience to offer this “brand new concept”.

“Historically we have thought about creating a new platform that is accepted by the largest possible number of people around The world, we would offer ‘a platform game with a new brand concept’, taking into consideration several factors, including gaming environments that are based on the country, “said Iwata. “That’s all I can confirm today.”

Unfortunately, Nintendo announced that there will be no news at E3 2015 NX or on its initiative to enter the mobile market. “I hope you understand that if you expect to talk about NX for the next show of E3, will be disappointed,” said the executive.

In early May, Nintendo announced that it will feature a full membership for all devices, which enable a unique user ID can connect to multiple devices, from their consoles to smart devices.
