The number of companies created in January grew 14.7% to 9,443 – Yahoo Finance Spain

Madrid, March 9 (EFE) .- In January 9,443 commercial companies were created, 14.7% more than in the same month of 2015, and dissolved 3,017, 4.4% more, according to data released today by the National Statistics Institute (INE).

the capital for its establishment amounted almost to 550 million euros, 6.3% less, while the average capital, 58,243 euros, decreased 18.3% annual rate.

in addition, in January 3,511 commercial companies increasing their capital, 12.4% less than in the same month 2015.

the capital in expansions had a decrease of 10.8% and exceeded 4,513 million and the average capital subscribed in these transactions (1,285,538 euros) increased 1.8% annual rate.

also, of the 3,017 firms wound up in January, 77.3% did so voluntarily, 14.1% by mergers and the remaining 8.6% for other reasons.

as for the monthly variation (January 2016 compared to December 2015), the number of companies grew 17.1% and 18.8% dissolved.

23.5% of the companies created in January fell to 15.4% Trade and the Construction.

Regarding the dissolved companies, 20.7% belonged to Trade and 15, 8% Construction.

the communities with the highest number of companies created in January were Catalonia (2183), Madrid (1,823) and Andalusia (1,570).

by contrast , the fewer companies created were Navarra and La Rioja (both 57) and Cantabria (89).

those who had the highest number of mercantile companies dissolved were Madrid (905), Andalusia (400) and Valencia (302).

the reporting less dissolved companies were Navarra (8), La Rioja (18) and Cantabria (26).

the highest annual rates in the number of companies created were La Rioja (67.6%) and Catalonia (31.4%), and the only communities with declines were Navarra (14.9%), Basque Country (2.9%) and Aragon (1 , 2%).

the communities with the highest positive rates of dissolved companies were Extremadura (42.1%) and Valencia (32.5%), while the largest decreases were those of Castilla- La Mancha (30.1%) and Aragón (23.7%)
