MEXICO CITY (CNNExpansión) – European shares fell on Tuesday, with the titles of firms related to travel and leisure pressuring the market after the deadly bombings Brussels Tuesday.
The pan-European FTSEurofirst 300 index down 0.12% to 1,338 units.
The Travel and Leisure index STOXX Europe 600 fell 1.76%, with shares of Ryanair, Accor, TUI and IAG falling between 1.5% and almost one 4%.
The actions of Thomas Cook travel wholesalers and TUI fell 4.3% respectively and 2.8% on the London Stock Exchange.
IAG, the consortium owner of British Airways and Iberia, fell 2.4%; Air France-KLM gave up 4.0% and the German airline Lufthansa 1.3%.
The InterContinental hotel company lost 1.5% and France’s Accor fell 3.9%.

Shares of companies related to luxury, as Ferragamo, LVMH and L’Oreal fell between 1.2 % and 3.4% on concerns that tourism, a key engine of its sales, could fall after the attacks.
At least 30 people were killed in bomb attacks at the airport and a subway station in the Belgian capital, triggering security alerts Europe West .
At the other end, shares of Securitas, the first private security firm in Europe, rose 3.7% on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
“The geopolitical risk, including acts of terrorism that directly affect trade or movement, remains a significant risk factor to keep risk,” said Lorne Baring, managing director of B Capital Wealth Management in Geneva .
Wall Street
Wall Street closed with mixed results Tuesday after a string of explosions in Brussels unleash new geopolitical concerns and bring investors to seek safer assets.
The Dow Jones fell 0.23% to 17.583 units, the S & P 500 fell 0.09% to 2,049 units. The Nasdaq closed positive with a rise of 0.27% to 4,821 points, according to CNNMoney information.
Bolsa Mexicana
The Index of Prices and Quotations, which groups the 35 leading companies in the local market, gained 0.33% to 45.632 units.
Since the start of daylight saving time in the United States, the Mexican Stock Exchange will operate from 07:30 to 14:00 from Monday until April first.

The dollar bank branches listed in 17.65 pesos for sale, a penny more than the close on Friday, according to Banamex at 13:40 local time. A purchase is located at 16.90.
In its interbank value the greenback closed at 17.3350, a depreciation of 0.16% over the previous close, according to Banxico data. A purchase stood at 17.3300.
