Five Days / The traders are facing the christmas period this year with the best profit of the last exercises. Virtually all studies and forecasts raised point to a growth in sales and in employment creation. The last report submitted was yesterday, by Deloitte, which pointed to a growth in spending by consumers to 4%, up to 682 euros .
The consultant considers that the increase in spending occurs because of a greater confidence on the part of consumers in the economic situation. Thus, 74% of those surveyed by Deloitte ensures that the economy is stable or growing compared to the previous year, compared to 63% who claimed a year before. They are twelve points more than the average of the european countries in which the study has been conducted. Also grows the confidence in the improvement of face the coming year, as 71% believe that the economy will get better, fifteen points more than the average.

One of the trends that are outlined by Deloitte in their study is the change in the timing of purchases. Initiatives such as the Black Friday or Cyber Monday have led to the November weight gain. Thus, the 23% of the purchases will be made this month, five points higher than a year before. The first half of December continues to be the most intensive in the holiday shopping.
