BBVA will close 132 offices in February of 2017 – Digital Sevilla

Within its plan of reorganization with the growing use of digital channels for its customers, BBVA will close 132 offices in the coming month of February.

With this measure, BBVA joins other banks that are preparing similar actions due to which more and more users are using digital channels to conduct their efforts.

despite this adjustment, BBVA ensures that it will continue to rely on offices and has underlined that "play a critical role" in the company. In addition, the bank underlines in a statement that currently, and in spite of this adjustment, the entity maintains the second most extensive branch network in the country with over three thousand offices.

at The close of these 132 offices will be added to the cut in its workforce of over 500 employees over the next year, 2017.
