The flat rate of 50 euros contribution to the new autonomous SeguridadSocial has encouraged 5.885emprendedores that have already joined this group. Of these, 2.415son young people under 30 years. Meanwhile, in Spain autonomous 267,964 were discharged by this rate, with 109,287 young people under 30, as reported Tuesday by the Ministry of Employment and Social Security.
The flat rate of 50 euros was introduced in Royal Decree-Law that supports entrepreneurs and stimulate growth and job creation approved by the Council of Ministers of 22 February 2013, within the Strategy Entrepreneurship and Youth Employment 2013-2016, the result of a process of dialogue and participation between the Ministry of Employment and Social Security and the social partners.
As indicated by the ministry in a press release, this strategy includes a series of measures aimed at boosting youth recruitment and entrepreneurship and thus contribute to reducing unemployment in the group of those under 30 years.
Subsequently, the Law on Entrepreneurs expanded the scope of the flat rate of 50 euros for all new self, regardless of their age.
This measure is that during the six months following the date the Special Scheme for Self-Employed (RETA), new entrepreneurs will benefit from a 80% share, so that the new self can contribute for the first half for 50 euros compared to 250 euros which usually trades on average. Subsequently, over the next six months, a further reduction on the basis of minimum 50% will apply.
After this period, the self-employed 30 or more years sebeneficiarán a 30% reduction in its price over the next six months. Meanwhile, the men of 30 years and women up to 35, will benefit from reduced maintenance and a bonus on their contributions by 30% over the next 18 months.
